Even small actions make a big difference. Here’s how you can help:

  • Get Involved in club activities listed in What the Club Expects From You — including:

  • Registering with Easy Fundraising
  • Become a Social Member
  • This helps support club finances and gives you benefits such as a 10% discount at the Tea Hut and discounts to social events.
  • Help them use the Teamo App
  • If your child is capable, encourage them to manage their own availability and check fixtures and events in Teamo. Your guidance will help them stay organised and responsible.

💷 Where Does My Money Go?

We believe in being open and transparent about how we use your membership and match fees at Swanley RFC. Here's a breakdown of how your contributions support the club:

🧾 Membership Fees Help Cover:

  • 🏉 Affiliation Fees
  • England Rugby (RFU)
  • Kent RFU
  • 🛡️ Club Insurance
  • Including personal accident insurance for players and volunteers
  • Competition Costs
  • League and Festival entry, referees, after match food and additional match-related expenses
  • 🏟️ Facilities Costs
  • Yearly rent for our pitch, changing rooms and facilities — our largest single expense
  • 🖥️ Club Systems & Operations
  • Website and hosting
  • Teamo app subscriptions
  • Payment processing fees (e.g. Stripe)
  • Accounting software (e.g. Xero)
  • 🏛️ Association Membership
  • Membership of the Association of CASCs to comply with HMRC regulations
  • 🏉 Essential Equipment
  • Balls, cones, safety gear, first aid kits, and technical kit
  • 🧰 Incidental Costs
  • First aid supplies, small maintenance needs, and more
  • 👕 Kit Purchases:
  • You pay only what it costs us to buy your kit from the supplier
  • The club makes no profit from kit sales
  • We strive to keep kits as affordable as possible

💰 Why Fundraising Matters

Even with membership and match fees, we still fall short of covering all expenses.

That’s why we also raise funds through:

  • Social events
  • Sponsorships
  • Club Lottery
  • EasyFundraising
  • Without fundraising, we'd have no choice but to increase fees — so every bit of support counts.
